ABOUT RILEY

My experience working on our family farm as a teenager taught me a lot about self-reliance and the value of hard work. In my senior year of high school, I discovered sales, marketing, and creative design as the business manager of our school’s yearbook. There was an immediate affinity for helping people achieve their goals. I discovered a love for sales and marketing and some raw natural talent.

It has been said success has many parents. My path has taken a lot of forks, and I have been fortunate to have countless mentors along the way to help me overcome the challenges to my progress. The person I am now is the result of the generous and patient spirit of those wise people.

My career has been rich in variety and different types of experience. My work has taken me to forty-three states and Canada. I have supervised international teams responsible for sales and marketing to the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, and South America.

My profile is that of a person who has mastered classic skills still relevant today while being an early adopter of new methods and procedures. As a lifelong technology nerd, I have capitalized on the opportunity to combine my existing skills with new ones.

Throughout my career, I’ve had many titles. My favorite is “Poppa.” My wife and I have five grandchildren between our two children. Our son owns a specialized certified public accounting firm with clients in 30 states. Our daughter develops media content for some of the largest companies in the world.

We continue to try to be good role models for our children and have always encouraged them to dream big and work hard to make their dreams come true. Most importantly, we strive to show them that to live compassionately and to be kind to everyone is the real key to success.

A civic organization I've belonged to for many years has driven my life's philosophy:

  1. Is it the truth?

  2. Is it fair to all concerned?

  3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?

  4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
